David joined the Lloyds team in 2025 as a licensed agent, specializing in personal & Commercial lines and eager to assist clients with their specific coverage needs. He is passionate in helping people navigate their insurance needs along with building relationships for the future of Walla Walla and surrounding areas. Dave is born and raised in Walla Walla and has been in the industry in the Walla Walla area for 18 years. David is the son of Mark Thompson a long-time insurance agent in Walla Walla and the grandson of Jack McDonald who also was an insurance agent in the Walla Walla area.
Education:
Bachelors from Eastern Washington University 2006 in Interdisciplinary Studies.
Special Interests & Hobbies:
David played football at Eastern Washington University and was part of the 2004 & 2005 Big Sky championship teams. He also coached at Walla Walla High School for 15 years with the football program. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf and coaching is 7-year-old son sports teams.
